Well, not according to Head coach Will Muschamp, who sounded positive during his appearance on the SEC teleconference today, as he said Easley has “tweaked” his knee and would sit out Wednesday’s practice, but said he though Easley would be fine.

It’s worth pointing out that Easley tore his left ACL in 2011. This would be a devastating loss for the Gators, but more so for Easley, who was looking like a top-10 NFL Draft prospect, but incurring a second torn ACL would undoubtedly drop him out of the first-round, and probably off of a number of team’s draft boards.

The 6-foot-2, 282-lb Easley is the primary reason Florida sports the SEC’s top-ranked defense, as he has four quarterback hurries and two tackles for loss this season, and can play both defensive tackle or end, and he’s by-far one of the most versatile lineman in the nation, making NFL scouts drool over his potential even more.
