Floyd Mayweather to bet on Johnny Football again

Last weekend, boxer Floyd Mayweather, who recently pocked $40 million for his fight with Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, told the world that he bet $220,000 on Texas A&M’s game with SMU and won, bringing in another $200,000.

Mayweather often tweets out his betting slips and this time, he congratulated Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel for his performance in the game. Manziel went 14-of-21 for 244 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He also rushed 12 times for 102 yards and two more touchdowns.

On the season, Manziel has completed 77 of 110 passes for 1,228 yards with 12 touchdowns and four interceptions. He has carried the ball 39 times for 255 yards and another three touchdowns on the ground.

Mayweather plans to keep betting on Manziel and the Aggies. In fact, he’s going to bet on them this week when they hit the road to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks.

“Johnny Football never has an off day,” Mayweather told The Howard Stern Show via Nick Schwartz of the USA Today.

Mayweather may again be rewarded for his faith in Manziel. The Aggies are only three-point favorites.
