The Indianapolis Colts have signed a pair of players to their practice squad in wide receiver Da’Rick Rogers and running back Kerwynn Williams:

Both players at one time looked like promising NFL Draft prospects, but now they’ll both look to work their way up from the practice squad.

Rogers was originally signed to the Colts practice squad on September 2 before being waived on September 24. In three seasons at Tennessee and Tenseness Tech, he posted 139 receptions for 2,100 yards and 21 touchdowns in 36 games played. Rogers played two seasons at the University of Tennessee (2010-11) before transferring to Tech for one year (2012).

Williams was selected by the Colts in the seventh round (230th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft. At Utah State, he finished seventh in school history with 2,515 rushing yards with 22 rushing touchdowns on 382 carries to go with five receiving touchdowns.

Look for one or both of these players to make it back onto the active roster at some point this year.
