Preparing to return to the court for the first time in over a year, Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose has been telling reporters that he feels better than ever. That self-assessment was supported by Kevin Durant in an interview with Comcast SportsNet Chicago on Tuesday.
He’s been looking great. It was really good for him that he took the whole year off. A lot of people criticized him for it and really were upset about him not playing, but it was the best thing for him. I can tell because he looks better (ESPN).
Durant — currently embroiled in a “beef” with Dwayne Wade that is in no way related to their Gatorade ad campaign — went on to say that Rose is one of the players “[he] would pay to see play.”
Chicago fans (and NBA fans in general) should be able to get their first look at Rose when the Bulls take on the Indiana Pacers in a preseason game on October 5th.
