Yesterday, the NBA announced that it would be holding the 2016 NBA All-Star game in Toronto and today they’ve announced the 2015 game, which will be held in New York, will be split between the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets.
According to Jeff Caplan, the NBA will hold all of the Friday and Saturday night events at the Nets’ Barclays Center while the actual game will be held at the Knicks’ Madison Square Garden:

It’s not very often you have an All-Star game held in a city where two teams are representatives – the only time I can recall that in recent memory is during the All-Star games held in Los Angeles, but both the Clippers and Lakers share the building so it wasn’t any problem.
Not wanting to leave the Knicks or Nets excluded, the league decided it would be best to involve both teams as ‘hosts’ for the NBA’s most popular weekend.
