There is some good news on the horizon for the New England Patriots’ offense – Danny Amendola may be nearing a return.

Earlier this week it was reported that there was a chance Amendola could return in Week Four and while that’ still a relatively big long shot, Amendola is reportedly doing much better than he was last week.

Per Mike Reiss:

"Starting right tackle Sebastian Vollmer (foot) not here for start of Patriots practice. Rob Gronkowski & Danny Amendola present. Full pads."

Unfortunately for those of you with Amendola or Julian Edelman on a fantasy team, it’s going to be a tough week considering the Patriots play in the Sunday night game against the Atlanta Falcons so you’ll be unware of their status until it’s far too late in the day.

There’s a good possibility we’ll be able to figure out if Amendola will be able to return before Sunday, though, I don’t expect the Patriots to give much confirmation either way given their history (or lack of) in reporting injury updates.
