The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off of a miraculous comeback-win over the Green Bay Packers, but the play that sparked the win may end up costing them a win this week vs the Cleveland Browns.
But after today’s report that the team will likely be without their two best defensive backs in safety Reggie Nelson and Leon Hall, it turns out the game-winning score on Sunday could actually cost them a win this week:
Hall and Nelson pulled hamstrings on Newman fumble TD return. Kirkpatrick already down with hamstring. Crocker knows the system. #Bengals

Both players were injured during CB Terence Newman’s fumble-return touchdown late in the fourth-quarter that turned out to be the game-winning score, and if both players are out Sunday, it will be tough for the Bengals to overcome a resurgent Browns team that won at hove vs Cincinnati last year.
If you ask Bengals announcer Dave Lapham, he’d probably say it was worth it.
