The San Francisco 49ers are just hours away from taking on the St. Louis Rams on Thursday Night Football and it’s very likely they’ll have starting running back Frank Gore available for the contest.

Gore, who had his status updated to ‘probable’ was a small question mark coming into the week after banging a knee in the loss to the Indianapolis Colts this past Sunday. There was no swelling however and barring a last second decision, Gore should suit up for the red and gold this evening.

Per CSN Bay Area:

"Gore banged his knee in the second half against the Colts, but he said he his body will be ready to go Thursday night.“I feel good,” Gore said. “The Colts didn’t blitz that much, so I really didn’t have to hit anybody. I didn’t really get hit, so I feel good.”"

The Rams were sliced and diced last week by the Dallas Cowboys, something Gore and the 49ers are hopeful to replicate, especially with tight end Vernon Davis‘ status still up in the air.
