Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones has been officially ruled out for the team’s Week 4 match up against the Buffalo Bills. To be clear, Jones is not ruled out because of taking a bottle to the head from a stripper named “Sweet Pea.” Instead, it is the knee injury that Jones has been recovering from that will keep him out of action.

Jones was expected to miss four to six weeks with the injury, so missing this week’s game will fall right along the timeline.

As for the stripper incident on the Ravens party bus, Jones has issued an apology of sorts for his role in the incident while managing to claim his innocence from any wrongdoing.

“I’m going to take the responsibility that I was in the wrong place at the wrong time,” Jones said, via the Baltimore Sun. “There was no altercation. There’s nothing wrong.

I did nothing wrong but I take responsibility for being in wrong place at the wrong time. Enough said. I apologize to my teammates and everybody.”

Jones’ return to the field could come as soon as next week.
