If there’s one thing boxing great Floyd Mayweather likes more than pummeling opponents into oblivion, it’s making cash.

He doesn’t call himself ‘Money’ for no reason.

Mayweather, who made a paltry $40 million dollars (har, har) for his fight against Canelo Alvarez a few weeks back has been spending the time since making bets, including winning $300,000 dollars on Texas A&M and star quarterback Jonny Manziel.

He also won $250,000 dollars during Thursday night’s game between the San Francisco 49ers and St. Louis Rams, where Money Mayweather laid down $300,000 dollars that the Niners would win the first half.

The 49ers of course went into halftime with a 14-3 lead, though, I imagine after the Niners missed their initial field goal and looked relatively woeful during the fifteen minutes, there was a small sense of panic.

Of course, when betting a quarter million dollars is about the equivalent of buying a hamburger for a normal person, I guess there’s only so much concern one will have.

The always confident Mayweather posted this with the above image:

It took me 30 minutes to make it happen — $250,000

Must be nice.
