Ohio State University likes to hang its hat on the fact that NBA superstar LeBron James, had he went to college, would have attended Ohio State.
The school even put in a LeBron James locker in their recent basketball locker room redesign which features a handful of items from James’ personal collection.
So it only makes sense James, who’s a big OSU fan will not only be on the sidelines for Ohio State’s big primetime game against the Wisconsin Badgers, but he’ll also be delivering the pre-game speech.
An Ohio State spokesperson confirmed to BuckeyeSports.com that four-time NBA MVP LeBron James will be on the third-ranked Buckeyes’ sideline on Saturday for the team’s primetime matchup with No. 23 Wisconsin. Current plans also call for the two-time reigning NBA Finals MVP to deliver a pre-game speech to the Ohio State squad.
While James might not exactly be known for his award winning speeches, having the biggest name in American sports step into your locker room in attempts to motivate you should be pretty cool for the football team.
