Royce White tells Philadelphia 76ers he will fly on airplanes this season

After a forgettable rookie season in the NBA, Royce White has fallen by the wayside.

The former Iowa State standout was the 16th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets, though, he possessed a skill set that would have seen White go higher had it not been for his anxiety issues.

Houston was willing to take a chance on White though, who’s anxiety issues forced him to avoid airplanes. Unfortunately, after continued spats, the Rockets traded White to the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this offseason where there were questions if Philadelphia would even keep him on the roster.

They’ve committed to doing so and White, wanting to show commitment back, has agreed to fly on the Sixers charters this season according to John Finger:

Royce White says he’s gonna fly. In a plane.

Flying is all but a required staple of being in professional sports, so not doing it essentially forces the hand of the Sixers (or any other team), but it’s certainly a step in the right direction for the talented White.

Why do you keep on recycling the flying aspect that was already settled in Houston as a matter of fact.
The real issues are things like what happens if he gets an attack before a game do you consider him injured or do you act like an $#@ an accuse him of breach of contract or fine him etc.

After a year do not tell me you have not figured out what the issues are.
