Did Stephen A. Smith fall asleep while listening to Skip Bayless on First Take? (Video)

Two of the most polarizing figures on ESPN are Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless. You either tend to love them or you don’t and the two often enjoy getting into some pretty serious arguments, complete with verbal barbs.

Nobody knows if it’s just an act or if the two really do have such large disagreements, but during Friday’s First Take, a funny thing happened – Smith appeared to fall asleep as Bayless was going through a mini-rant.

As Bayless was talking about the New York Jets, Smith’s eyes began to slowly close and he sat there for a moment, not moving, almost as if he was sleeping.

Of course, just a few moments later Smith began speaking again, though, looked relatively groggy in doing so. Maybe he was actually really tired (considering his travel schedule, not impossible) or maybe he simply wasn’t feeling well.

Either way, given their often bickering, the idea of Smith falling asleep in a Bayless rant is quite amusing.
