This looks like it will be a lopsided affair. Barcelona with their superstar tandem of Neymar and Lionel Messi sit atop the La Liga table. Their Almería opponents are sitting in 17th just ahead of the relegation zone with an 0-3-3 record and three points.

Barcelona would set a new record with a win against Almería, but with Atlético Madrid keeping up with them they need three points to stay atop the table.

“We want the three points, not the record,” Andres Iniesta said, via ESPN FC. “We need to keep winning and keep improving … But away matches are always that bit harder.”

Iniesta’s future is up in the air as the two sides struggle to come to terms.

“I have said many times that my aim is to retire here and the club wants the same,” he said. “We all want to reach an agreement. There is no place like this.

“The news coming out and the things people and reporters say are not things I can control. But there is nothing strange or any war going on between Barca and Iniesta. The club wants me here and I want to stay here.”
