Danny Granger participates in full practice with Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers were thinking forward Danny Granger would slowly work his way back during training camp, hopefully enough where he’d be ready for opening night with few setbacks (if any).

However, Granger, feeling good was allowed to take part in a full practice with the Pacers today and looked quite healthy in the process.

Per NBA.com:

“I went through the whole practice. I did all the sprints. I played the whole time. I didn’t have to sit out or anything so I definitely can feel (my conditioning) coming back.”

Granger wasn’t the only one who felt the practice was a positive step in the right direction as head coach Frank Vogel didn’t see any issues arise either:

“I didn’t see any limitations at all,” he said. “He just looked like Danny Granger. Not like last year’s Danny Granger where he was struggling to push off on certain plays. He looked like two years ago Danny Granger.”

Granger, who is a free agent at season end could be a key addition to an already talented Pacers team if healthy, or could find himself as a trade chip come the February trading deadline if his knees give out.

I have missed seeing him play and can’t wait to see how he will fit in this coming season. This is going to be some exiting Pacer basketball.
