One of the greatest traditions of Saturday mornings in the fall is laying on the couch or bed waiting for Lee Corso to make his pick on ESPN’s College Gameday show. Every week Corso picks his winner for the game they’ve attended in dramatic fashion. Usually it involves putting on the mascots head in front of the home team’s crowd. If he picks the visiting team he is met with a chorus of boos and if he picks the home team he is cheered.
Last week they went to Fargo, North Dakota. It was a week that lacked a big FBS match up. Today the College GameDay crew are in Athens, Georgia preparing for the the SEC clash between #6 LSU and #9 Georgia. For Georgia, this is their second time on College GameDay this season, the first team to be apart of the match up twice.
If Georgia loses they will drop to 2-2 early in the season. LSU would keep their undefeated season and dreams of a National Championship and SEC Title game alive.

Lee Corso talked about his feelings towards picking dogs this year and said it was his chance for redemption, leading some to believe he’d pick Georgia. He then pulled out the LSU Tiger’s head and had some trouble getting it on.
