The New England Patriots are currently battling the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome, but they may have already suffered a huge loss after defensive tackle Vince Wilfork walked off the field with what appeared to be a n ankle injury, and has since been carted back into the locker-room:

NBC Sideline Reporter Michele Tafoya just reported that Wilfork and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady spoke on the sideline, and the word regarding the injury, which she called an ankle injury, was not positive.

Wilfork has played every game since the start of the 2010 season and has missed just six games in his 10-year career.
