Although the New England Patriots are 3-0, it hasn’t exactly been easy, especially in regards to their passing game. Missing both Aaron Hernandez and Danny Amendola to injury, the Pats have been short handed and it’s shown.

Thankfully, at least for New England fans, those days of being short handed are nearing an end.

Not only is Hernandez expected back in the near future, but the Patriots are hopeful that Amendola will be able to return as soon as next week, per Albert Breer:

"One more on New England injuries — Danny Amendola never had a real shot to play in Atlanta. They’re hopeful on Cincy. Nothing concrete."

Of course, how Amendola responds in practice this upcoming week will likely determine his status for Week Five, though, considering he looked relatively healthy during practice for Week Four, it’s looking very possible that a Week Five return could be in the cards.

The return of Amdenola (and Hernandez, whenever that may be) should help open up the Patriots offense.
