New England Patriots hopeful Danny Amendola will return in Week Five

Although the New England Patriots are 3-0, it hasn’t exactly been easy, especially in regards to their passing game. Missing both Aaron Hernandez and Danny Amendola to injury, the Pats have been short handed and it’s shown.

Thankfully, at least for New England fans, those days of being short handed are nearing an end.

Not only is Hernandez expected back in the near future, but the Patriots are hopeful that Amendola will be able to return as soon as next week, per Albert Breer:

One more on New England injuries — Danny Amendola never had a real shot to play in Atlanta. They’re hopeful on Cincy. Nothing concrete.

Of course, how Amendola responds in practice this upcoming week will likely determine his status for Week Five, though, considering he looked relatively healthy during practice for Week Four, it’s looking very possible that a Week Five return could be in the cards.

The return of Amdenola (and Hernandez, whenever that may be) should help open up the Patriots offense.

Hernandez wont be getting out of his situation anytime soon……

Worst author I’ve ever seen in my life. How do you let Hernandez’s name slip 3 times in the same article when he isn’t on the team anymore? Do you know anything about the team? Or football in general?

  • 187 wit my dick in ya mouth

yea this author is messing up. Honestly, amendola is fragile and we all know this. It is good brady is working with the rooks and people because who knows how long amendola or gronk will last. better they struggle and find a way no than in the late and post season.

wow, yeah… nice Hernandez slip. Now I’m all like “is he getting off on the charges?” lol. Great job there. I guess he hasnt seen the development of the young receivers either. KT rocked the last couple of games and is only getting better.

Wow, what rock did you crawl out from under?? Hernandez is not hurt or coming back, he’s in freakin’ jail. You dumbass!!

  • jtwover50

Who wrote this? It’s terribly written.

  • Humpback

I bet the author confused Gronkowski with Hernandez. OK–both out so far this year, both tight ends with great records. But really, different guys with vastly different problems.

  • Chris Mcmeeken

U know he’s in jail right

  • Bob Snowdon

Team is 4-0, not 3-0. Hernandez will be old & grey before he is eligible to return from jail, not injury. Do your homework Bryan.
