If you were fortunate enough to have drafted Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden in fantasy football, you would have loved his prospects of a big game entering today against the league’s worst defense in the Washington Redskins.
It looked early like he was going to have one of the bigger days by a RB, rushing for 29 yards on five carries early as the Raiders jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead, and looked ready to ride him to just their second win of the season.
Alas, that won’t happen after he suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him sidelined the rest of the way:

His return was initially ruled questionable but he returned from the halftime locker room in street clothes and later ruled out. The Raiders also lost fullback Marcel Reece to a knee injury in the first half
McFadden, who is in a contract year, has never played more than 13 games in a season.
