Fantasy Football: Andy Dalton struggles mean A.J. Green struggles

The Cincinnati Benglas struggled mightily to find any offensive consistency Sunday in 17-6 loss to the Cleveland Browns, and much of that had to do with quarterback Andy Dalton and wide receiver A.J. Green not being on the same page. Despite targeting the All-Pro receiver 15 times, Dalton connected on just seven passes to Green, who now has just 17 catches for 138 yards and one touchdown over the past three games.
"“There were times when they (Browns) covered him pretty well and others that I could have made some better throws that gave him (Green) more of a chance,” Dalton said after Sunday’s loss to the Browns."
This, after an explosive Week 1 performance which Green and Dalton hook-up nine times for 162 yards and a pair of scores.
It’s also clear defenses are going to force the Bengals to prove they have other receiving threats before they stop honing in on Green.
"“If they put a couple of guys on A.J. then we have to make plays with the other guys,” Dalton said. “We had a couple of big plays, Jermaine (Gresham) had some big catches, other guys had some big catches, but at the end of the day we didn’t make enough plays.”"
