Ohio State football: Braxton Miller earns Big Ten POW honors

The Ohio football team downed visiting Wisconsin 31-24 in Week 5, and that win has brought quarterback Braxton Miller yet another accolade to add to his resume.

The Big Ten Conference announced Monday that the junior was awarded the honor of Offensive Player of the Week.

Miller was 17 of 25 for 198 yards and four touchdowns, and he also rushed 22 times for 83 yards.

This is only the second time that Miller has been awarded the honor.

Ohio State backup quarterback Kenny Guiton won the honor last week against Florida A&M, as he filled in for the then-injured Miller.

The No. 4 Ohio State football team (5-0) visits No. 16 Northwestern (4-0) at 8 p.m. Saturday at Ryan Field in Evanston. ESPN College GameDay will be filmed prior to the game in Evanston.
