Raiders Oct. 6 home game vs. Chargers moved to 11:35 pm EST

Because of the Oakland Athletics making it into the Major League Baseball playoffs, the Oakland Raiders will now be forced to move their home game on that date against the San Diego Chargers, to a very unfavorable time:

Here is the full statement from the Raiders:

Kickoff for the Oakland Raiders versus San Diego Chargers game at O.co Coliseum on Sunday, October 6 has been moved to 8:35 p.m.

The game was moved back over seven hours from an original 1:25 p.m. kickoff to accommodate the Coliseum’s conversion from a baseball configuration to football due to the Oakland A’s postseason game on Saturday evening, October 5.

The game will air on NFL Network nationally, as well as an over-the-air station (TBA) locally, if sold out per NFL blackout rules.

Get ya late-night popcorn ready for this one!
