A glorious era has come to an end. When Andrew Bynum spent last season on the sidelines for the Philadelphia 76ers, he was only in the headlines for his wild hair choices and hobo-esque afro.
Now that he has joined the Cleveland Cavaliers, the hair is no more.
The team tweeted out a photo of the new center during recent media days and he actually looked normal for the first time in recent memory.
It is sad to see the hair go, but now Bynum can worry about making the news for what he is able to accomplish on the court.
If you haven’t seen Bynum with his new cleaned up look, check out the photo that the Cavaliers posted below:
It’s going to be interesting to see how Bynum will perform after missing significant time with his multiple knee surgeries, but it was a relatively low-risk, high-reward move for the Cavaliers.
If Bynum can return to form, he will create a dynamic duo with star point guard Kyrie Irving.
