Bucks’ Larry Sanders takes shot at Pistons’ Brandon Jennings

At one point not that long ago, Larry Sanders and Brandon Jennings were teammates on the Milwaukee Bucks. But thanks to a roster overhaul, Jennings is now a member of the Detroit Pistons where he recently suggested his excitement to play with better big men in Motown, which include Josh Smith, Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond.

That didn’t sit well with Sanders, who fired back his own shot at Jennings, suggesting that the volume shooting point guard would actually need to pass them the ball.

Per Andrew Gruman:

Larry Sanders on Brandon Jennings’ comments about playing with better bigs in DET: “He has to pass it to them first”

Jennings isn’t exactly the most endearing individual and I doubt there were many in Milwaukee sad to see him go, including his teammates.

Still – the war of words seemed more in jest than in anger, so it’s doubtful anything will continue to come from this unless Jennings feels the need to throw more fuel on the fire.

Of course – a hard screen from Sanders might not be out of the question.
