This a match up of two Group E teams, Scottish side Celtic, and Spanish super power, Barcelona. This is clearly the marquee match up of the day. From a marketing stand point it is the one game with two of the most marketable clubs in the United States. Second it has the star power of Lionel Messi and newcomer Neymar, who impressed and found himself in highlight countdowns this summer for his play in the Confederations Cup.
Aside from that, it has the most compelling story line of the day. Last year Celtic and Barcelona were paired up in group play and Barcelona lost to Celtic in Glasgow. A teenager scored a huge goal to give Celtic a 2-0 lead over Barcelona before they pulled one goal back.

Unfortunately for Barcelona, Messi won’t be available for the match-up. He is out with a thigh injury.
“It is a test because we always want him in our team,” Cesc Fabregas said, via ESPN FC. “Obviously Lionel is the best player in the world, I don’t even have to say that and you obviously will miss a player of his talent and dedication.
“We rely on him a lot. He is the best player, the one that scores more goals, the one that does the offensives tasks. He is always there for us, he gives assists, he is the best.”
Barcelona could be vulnerable for upset in Glasgow again.
