1. Terrelle Pryor-QB-Oakland Raiders (24.3%)

The number one option on the list for today didn’t score a single point in week 3. Terrelle Pryor was sidelined with a concussion as Matt Flynn drew the start for Oakland who ultimately lost to the visiting team from Washington. Pryor was physically cleared for practice but the coaching staff elected to be extra cautions with their QB and had him sit out. After the game, Coach Dennis Allen said he felt good about Pryor’s availability week 5.

The last time we saw the former Buckeye QB he turned in a solid Monday Night Football performance against the Broncos. He threw for 281 yards and a touchdown while rushing for another 36 yards. He’s a dual threat who can make plays with his legs as well as his arm which can pay off especially if your league is rush-heavy. Pryor may be asked to do even more with his legs this week since the Raiders may be without Darren McFadden and Marcel Reece.

On top of that, Pryor will be returning to face the defense that’s allowed more points to opposing QB’s than any other team in the NFL as the Raiders host the visiting Chargers. San Diego has been torn up by Michael Vick, Jake Locker, Matt Schaub, and Tony Romo, and they lost Dwight Freeney as a pass-rushing presence last week. If you need a bye-week fill-in, Pryor is a solid option even as a low-end QB1 this week if he’s active against San Diego.
