John Cena and Brock Lesnar may be returning to the WWE at the Royal Rumble

With the official Road to WrestleMania just a couple of months away, two big stars in the company could possibly return for January’s Royal Rumble.

Both John Cena and Brock Lesnar have been taking time off from the company. Cena is actually going through rehab and word is, everything is going to according to plan. Lesnar is on a legends contract and has a certain number of appearances.

Lesnar hasn’t been on WWE television since he defeated CM Punk at WWE Summer Slam back in August, but could be ready to get back to action as soon as December. Worst case scenario, both professional wrestlers should be ready to go for the 30-man Rumble event.

Knowing WWE, they’re letting Cena rest up as much as he can while rehabbing his injury, allowing him to make a “surprise” Royal Rumble entrance. If this happens, he may end up winning it and headlining Wrestle Mania once again.

Word right now is that the company may have Daniel Bryan win it, but you never know what they could decide to do when Cena comes back.

Brock could return anytime between Survivor Series/Hell In A Cell/Royal Rumble.
