Michael Bourn in the starting lineup today against the Tampa Bay Rays

The American League Wild Card series will kick off tonight as the Cleveland Indians take on the Tampa Bay Rays.

Cleveland Indians outfield Michael Bourn has battled with a couple of injuries during the last month of the regular season and was a question mark when it came to his status for the opening game of the Wild Card game against the Rays.

According to Jordan Bastian on Twitter, Bourn will indeed be in the starting lineup for the Indians. Bourn left Sunday’s regular season finale with a calf problem but it wasn’t as serious enough to keep him out of the lineup. He also dealt with a wrist problem as written by fellow FanSided writer Andrew Melnick.

The red hot Cleveland Indians are looking to take the Wild Card game away from the Rays and go onto playing the Boston Red Sox.

Game will be aired on TBS and start at 5:07 PM (MST)
