UCLA not distracted by chaos at USC

Given the chaotic week the USC Trojans are having, you’d think the cross-town rival UCLA Bruins would have something to say about the situation. But UCLA head coach Jim Mora, though he’s expressed sympathy for Kiffin, says otherwise:

We don’t worry about that stuff. We don’t talk about it. We don’t think about it. It’s not in our orbit. That’s another team. We worry about our team. Our players worry about our team. They couldn’t care less what’s going on over there. It doesn’t matter to us. It’s not going to affect us. We don’t play them until late November. It doesn’t matter to us. It’s a non-factor (ESPN).

With a game against on the road against the Utah Utes on Thursday night, it’s a good things the No. 12 Bruins aren’t unnecessarily distracted. While Utah hasn’t exactly set fire to the Pac-12 conference since joining, the Utes have a strong team this year. Their only loss on the season was in overtime against Oregon State, and quarterback Travis Wilson is one of the more underrated players in a conference full of superstars.

Rice-Eccles Stadium should be rocking for the game. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m. PT, and the game can be seen on Fox Sports 1.
