Cleveland Browns DL Desmond Bryant taken to hospital for shortness of breath

The Cleveland Browns were able to take down the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night football, but the game caused the team to lose a few key players. In the first quarter, Cleveland lost starting quarterback Brian Hoyer to a right knee injury.

Hoyer will need to undergo an MRI and the team fears he may have suffered a torn ligament in his knee, but that wasn’t the only loss the team suffered.

On the defensive side of the ball, defensive tackle Desmond Bryant left the game with shortness of breath and was taken immediately to the hospital. Reports indicate that the trip to the hospital was just a precautionary measure, but it is still scary to hear about — especially considering rookie linebacker Barkevious Mingo was taken to the hospital during the preseason with a bruised lung.

The team has not provided an update on Bryant’s status, but we can expect to hear more after the game and in the coming days.

We will keep you updated on Bryant’s status as more information becomes available.
