Jalen Rose predicts Michael Jordan will return to play one game for Charlotte Bobcats

The NBA season is just around the corner – an NBA season that could feature the return of Michael Jordan?

That’s the thought process of former player and current ESPN analyst Jalen Rose, who recently suggested that he believes the great one will come out of retirement for one game and play with the Charlotte Bobcats.

Per NESN:

“I’ll make a quick prediction for the Bobcats,” Rose said. “Michael Jordan’s coming out of retirement and playing one game this year.

Rose, who made the prediction/suggestion on Grantland’s ‘Bill and Jalen’s 2013 NBA Preview’ video seemed overly serious about it, all but astonishing co-host Bill Simmons in the process.

Simmons, who had to pause for a few seconds, asked Rose if he was serious, to which he replied he was.

It’s a bit outlandish, though, it’s not as if Rose isn’t plugged into the league – though despite that, it’s still an extreme stretch and one that MJ probably won’t be overly thrilled with considering he’ll be asked about it all season now.
