The Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves kick off their National League Divisional Series on Thursday night at Turner Field, as the NL West and NL East champions square off to earn their first win in the best-of-five series.

Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw (16-9, 1.83 ERA) and Braves right-hander Kris Medlen (15-12, 3.11) take the mound for the all important first game. In Medlan’s last outing, he tossed eight innings of shutout baseball and he will hope to keep the momentum going against the Braves in front of their home crowd.
