Veteran defensive back Cortland Finnegan has been listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

It’s not that big of a loss considering they’re playing Jacksonville, but I’m sure they would love it even better if Finnegan was able to play. He’s currently battling a thigh injury that he suffered two Thursday’s ago in a 35-11 loss against the San Francisco 49ers at home.

Through four games this season, Finnegan has recorded 14 combined tackles but hasn’t really done much besides that. When healthy, Finnegan is one of the best corner-backs this league has to offer. He’s one of those players that you love to hate, but you have no choice but to respect the talent.

This season St. Louis has given up 254 passing yards and 134 rushing yards per game. Jacksonville isn’t much of a threat as an opponent, but if this season has shown us one thing it’s that these games are unpredictable.
