Just when you thought things couldn’t get worse for the New York Giants, they do.
Veteran offensive guard Chris Snee is more than likely to undergo surgery on his hip that will keep him out for the remainder of the season. This years New York Giants have been a little surprising. I didn’t really picture this team starting off 0-4, but I guess that’s how things work in this league.
While the Giants are waiting to hear back about Jon Beason’s physical, they’re preparing themselves for Sunday’s showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles at home. Offensive lineman James Brewer will continue to lock down Snee’s right guard position as the Giants enter a four game stretch before their bye week.
Next Thursday they’ll travel to Chicago to take on the Bears, then back home to take on the Minnesota Vikings then travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles once again in their regular season series finale.
The way things are looking for this team right now, I think they end up finishing the season around 5-11.
Giants G Chris Snee likely headed to IR today and the operating table soon thereafter. Tried to rehab it. Not responding.
