For many, afternoon baseball is troublesome. You’re either at work, school or out running errands, but once such youngster doesn’t have any of those problems thanks to a creative family member.

FTW was sent this crafty ‘doctors excuse’ which will allow a young boy to either watch or attend an upcoming Pirates game after he came down with ‘Bucco fever’.

The note reads:

Mrs. U,

I will be picking up Braden at 12:55 today. Braden has an appointment with Dr. McCutchen, Braden has Bucco fever.

The ‘excuse’ letter is also covered in the Pirates logo in addition to a picture of Andrew McCutchen, or should I say, Dr. McCutchen.

My assumption is that the young boy will (or has already) been pulled from school to watch today’s Game 2 between the Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals, though, the two teams do play Game 4 on Monday in Pittsburgh, if needed, so the note could be for the upcoming game next week.

Either way, I’m pretty jealous I never received one of these in school.
