ALDS Game 2 lineup: Detroit Tigers at Oakland Athletics

The opening game of the ALDS between the Tigers and Athletics couldn’t have went more perfectly for Detroit, so there’s little change come their lineup for Game 2. The lone difference in comparison to their lineup from Game 1 will be the addition of Don Kelly, who will play left field. Andy Dirks got the start Friday evening and will be replaced with Sonny Gray on the mound for Oakland.

As for the Athletics, they’ve switched up the bottom of their order in addition to adding Seth Smith to the Game 2 lineup. Smith will bat sixth while Josh Reddick and Stephen Vogt will be dropped a place in the order against Justin Verlander. Daric Barton, who started at first base in Game 1, will be replaced by Brandon Moss.
