The Ohio State Buckeyes are in serious jeopardy of losing their No. 4 ranking as they trail late in the third against the Northwestern Wildcats by ten points, so the Buckeyes could soon be looking for a spark. Braxton Miller, who began the season as a Heisman favorite, has struggled greatly for the Buckeyes with one interception and a crucial fumble inside the redzone.
Ohio State needs more reliable play at quarterback as they look to make the comeback, so it was no surprise when ABC cameras shot to the sidelines where back up Kenny Guiton was warming up.
If Miller continues to struggle in the primetime match up, Guiton could very well get the call. At the very least, the Buckeyes could benefit from mixing it up on offense by using both players.
The defense is beginning to heat up for Ohio State, so it doesn’t look like the Wildcats will be able to pull away and now it’s time for the offense to do their part and retake the lead.
