Chicago Bulls superstar Derrick Rose looked wonderful in his first game back from injury last night during the Bulls’ preseason opener against the Indiana Pacers.

However, as we all know, looks can be deceiving. While the former NBA MVP may have looked good in the heat of the moment, how his body reacted after the game (and the following day) would be more of a true test considering Rose hasn’t played in an NBA game in over a season.

Thankfully though, the news is all positive as Rose says he feels no discomfort today whatsoever – music to the ears of Bulls faithful.

Per Nick Friedell:

Rose is feeling good after his first game. Says he has no soreness at all. Seems happy with the way things are progressing.

Rose, the Bulls organization and fans couldn’t have asked for a better first game back. Rose looked just as explosive as he always was (maybe even a bit more), looked very healthy and now says he’s feeling perfectly fine with no soreness. Bast case scenario all around. Hopefully it’s a trend that will continue.
