Los Angeles open up big lead over Atlanta with Juan Uribe home run

The Los Angeles Dodgers have opened up a 10-4 lead over the Atlanta Braves through 4 innings. After scoring 4 runs in the second and 2 runs in the third, the Dodgers posted another 4 spot in the fourth highlighted by Juan Uribe‘s 2 run homer into the right field seats.

Carl Crawford got the inning started reaching first base after an error by the Braves pitcher Alex Wood. After a flyout to center field, Hanley Ramirez continued his scorching series by roping a triple into the left-center gap scoring Crawford. After an out by Adrian Gonzalez, Yasiel Puig would single home Hanley and then Uribe did his damaging deep fly.

Not surprisingly, Mattingly has found his way into his bullpen also tonight. Chris Capuano, a left handed pitcher, came out in the fourth inning and is currently pitching in the 5th. Capuano was mostly a starting pitcher who did struggle at time during the regular season. Look for him to have a short leash if he allows a run to score.
