NFL Week 5 is upon us and here are some coverage maps displaying which markets are getting which games. It is interesting that the Northwest, Arizona and California are getting the New England-Cincinnati game in the early slot on CBS. The Jacksonville Jaguars are playing the NFC West division’s St. Louis Rams. That game impacts those regions which have teams in the NFC West, but they’re probably grateful not to be subjected to a Jaguars game.
For some reason Abilene decided to go with the less marquee Baltimore-Miami game instead of the New England-Cincinnati match up. In the 4 o’clock slot everyone gets treated to the Denver Broncos game against the Dallas Cowboys, except if you live in Arizona.
The FOX coverage map makes less sense to me, but interesting nonetheless.
There was supposed to be another game in the 4 o’clock hour between the San Diego Chargers and the Oakland Raiders. Because of the Oakland Athletic’s game last night, the conversion between baseball stadium and football stadium wouldn’t have been completed in time. That forced them to delay the Chargers-Raiders game, which will air on NFL Network at 11:35 pm ET.
