Florida State vs. Clemson officially set for primetime

On Saturday afternoon when the Clemson Tigers were finished routing the Syracuse Orange 49-14, a mere few hours after the Florida State Seminoles got done embarrassing Maryland 63-0 on national television, reality began to set in–these two are two weeks from meeting on the field in what has developed into one of the more anticipated matchups of the year.

And because of that, they’ve already secured the 8:00 PM ET slot on ABC on Oct. 19.

This game will have just about everything you can ask for. Assuming that Clemson handles business this upcoming weekend against Boston College as they rightfully should, these two will be undefeated when they meet each other, national title hopes still intact and will also feature a duel of two Heisman hopeful quarterbacks in Jameis Winston and Tajh Boyd.

The game itself will be played in Death Valley, a venue that we’ve already seen in primetime this year in Clemson’s opening week win over Georgia.

Oct. 19 should be a wild ride.
