Houston Texans may be preparing to bench Matt Schaub

Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub is in one of the worst you’ll ever see by one. He’s thrown interceptions that were returned for touchdowns in three straight games entering last night, and no one would have been surprised if he’d throw another one against a vaunted San Francisco 49ers defense.

But no one thought it would be on the first play of the game to Tramaine Brock, who took Schaub’s errant pass back to the house and set the tone for a 34-3 win over the slumping Texans.

And to add salt to the wound, that pick-6 set an all-time NFL record for the most in consecutive games, according to the Elias Sports Bureau:
