The marriage between the Tennessee Titans and wide receiver Kenny Britt hasn’t been the best and in recent weeks, it’s become quite rocky after Britt vented his frustrations on social media.

It’s about to get a little worse after head coach Mike Munchak said that while Britt won’t be named an inactive, his playing time will be reduced until he shows he deserves more time.

Per Terry McCormick:

"Munchak says #Titans will have to reduce Britt’s role until he shows himself improved and making plays."

Britt has been relatively woeful since his breakout 2010 season where he hauled in 9 touchdowns. Now, given his disgruntled play and the fact that Tennessee has all but hinted they have no plans to re-sign the impending free agent, it wouldn’t be a complete shock to see Britt moved prior to the trading deadline.

There has been rumored interest, though, that might be coming from the Titans in hopes of upping his value.

Trade or not, it appears Britt is just playing out the string in Tennessee.
