The NBA preseason is underway and the Brooklyn Nets are playing the Washington Wizards. Preseason basketball can be kind of boring. Today that wasn’t the case.
Nets center Andray Blatche was backing down Wizards forward Al Harrington along the baseline when Harrington went old school on him. As Blatche prepared to take a step back and put his weight into Harrington, he simply moved out-of-the-way.
That side step cause Blatche to fall on his butt and the ball to go out of bounds. That turnover gave the Wizards back the ball. Makes you wonder why Harrington decided to pull that move out in the preseason instead of keeping it in his pocket for the regular season.
Nevertheless the Wizards got the ball back because of the turnover. The play occurred at the end of the first quarter with the Nets ahead by one point. Both players are on the bench now. Harrington has played 7 minutes so far and has two points, Blatche has has played 8 minutes and has 4 points.
