It may still be well over one week away, but when the Florida State Seminoles and the Clemson Tigers square off on Oct. 19, a lot will be at stake. This will be, at least, a matchup of two top ten teams in the rankings, and possibly a top five one, should someone in front of the ‘Noles take a fall and Clemson doesn’t have a letdown this week against Boston College.

There will be conference and national championship hopes on the line. There will also be Heisman chances on the line, as Clemson’s Tajh Boyd was a favorite before the season, and Florida State’s Jameis Winston has rapidly shot his way into that discussion with his play this year.

Through the last few years, this has developed into one of the more anticipated matchups in the ACC, and next Saturday’s clash carries the biggest implications yet for both teams involved.
