The Heat are looking to be the first team to repeat since the Los Angeles Lakers back in 2000-2002 but will face tougher competition this season now that Derrick Rose is healthy and in the lineup for the Chicago Bulls.
Nobody has ever questioned Wades ability on the court as he proves himself to be one of the best point guards this league has to offer. His age is slowly getting up there as he’s entering his 10th season in the league and turns 32 years old on January 17th.
Wade sat out Monday’s pre-season opener against the Atlanta Hawks but doesn’t plan on sitting out that much later in the season. He’s also coming off of another knee issue that limited him during the teams championship run last season.
If Wade sits out during the entire pre-season it won’t mean anything. It’s just pre-season, this team is going to need him 100% and ready to go come opening night. Their first game of the season will see them visiting the Chicago Bulls, a night that their back to back championships will be overshadowed by the return of D-Rose.
