Jerry Sandusky’s son, Jon, was arrested Tuesday morning on suspicion of a DUI in Fargo, North Dakota. Sandusky is currently the Browns director of player personnel and the son of ex-Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky.
The elder Sandusky is currently in prison serving a 30 to 60 year sentence.
From Fargo-Moorhead Forum:
Fargo police Lt. Joel Vettel said an officer spotted Jon Sandusky, 36, of Strongsville, Ohio, making an illegal turn at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and North University Drive about 1:50 a.m.
The officer pulled Sandusky over and determined after administering field sobriety tests that he was driving under the influence.
Sandusky was booked into Cass County Jail and posted bail later that Tuesday.
He is just another in a series of NFL front office arrests. It is safe to assume that he in Fargo on official Browns business, probably visiting the North Dakota State football teams. There isn’t any indication that he’ll be punished by the Browns or the NFL, yet. More news to come and we’ll keep you up to date.
