Jerry Sandusky’s son refused DUI blood test

It was reported earlier that Cleveland Browns director of player personnel Jon Sandusky, son of the infamous Jerry Sandusky, was arrested for suspicion of DUI in Fargo, North Dakota yesterday.

Now, some of the facts are pouring in.

ESPN is reporting Sandusky was cooperative with police, but refused to take a DUI blood test when he was arrested.

Apparently in the state of North Dakota, anyone who refuses a chemical test is considered guilty of driving under the influence.

Per ESPN, Police Lt. Joel Vettel said that Sandusky was pulled over for making an illegal turn at 1:50 am Tuesday morning. Sandusky allegedly crossed over three lanes of traffic to make the turn.

Sandusky is currently out on bail and has no attorney, according to court records.

The 36-year-old Jon Sandusky is the son of former Pen State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky, who is serving 30 to 60 years of prison time for sexually abusing at least 10 boys over 15 years at Penn State.
