The Los Angeles Lakers have made two roster two roster cuts today.
The moves that were made were nothing major, but it’s not the only cuts we should see within the month. Of course teams have to trim their rosters and the two cuts today for the Lakers happen to be big men Eric Boateng and Dan Gadzuric.
The Lakers signed former Philadelphia 76er center Dan Gadzuric back in September to hopefully add some depth at the position. He wasn’t really promised a roster spot since the Lakers do have Pau Gasol, Jordan Hill and Robert Sacre holding down the position.
Boateng played three seasons for the Idaho Stampede and Austin Toros of the NBA’s Development League on top of playing for the Peristeri of the Greek Basketball League and even spent a little time in Germany.
He’s another center that wasn’t guarantee’d a spot on this roster but could get a call back if something were to happen to one of the big men on this roster right now.
The roster for the Lakers currently stands at 17 players.
The Lakers announce they have waived Eric Boateng and Dan Gadzuric, bringing their training camp roster down to 17.
