We see proposals at sporting events all the time. Men typically use their passion for a team to double as a venue for asking a life changing questions to a lucky lady. Sometimes, we see a denial, but for the most part, there is a positive answer. Usually, these things happen during regular season or playoff games, and men use the scoreboard to ask, or have some special event take place. One guy even borrowed the services of Magic Johnson. On Monday, we had something that is more rare: A preseason proposal at the Celtics-Raptors game:

Preseason brings us basketball that has no meaning, and there are usually empty arenas all over the country (and now worldwide!). It’s interesting to see that this gentleman used a preseason game to pop the question. Tickets are cheaper during the preseason, so you have to give the guy credit for saving money. She said yes obviously, but it begs the question–would you ever pop the question during a preseason game?
